An alternate to Quicken it is not! Ignore their hype. Buyer beware! .
They claim that it can replace Quicken in all respects. I have used Quickbooks and still have Quicken running. The main reason for using Intuit is the need for electronic banking. AceMoney claims it will work with the banking world and replace Quicken and Money. So if you have Bank of America, you should be OK. If you have a local, regional, or lesser known bank, forget it.
Their answer to my refund request was they assumed I used the trial and was satisfied before ordering. So much for good-faith purchasing and believing in honesty in the commercial world. The trial version only allows one account and certainly wouldn't give me the ability to test two new banks with six accounts between them. So not only is it not usable for downloads in real time, you cannot do any Bill Pay. AceMoney is not worth any money!
Pros:
Simple and basic. rather easy setup and major learning curve.
Cons:
Can't be used for most (your local unless it is as large as Bank of America)electronic banking needs including real time status and Bill Pay. More

Complete waste of money.
This product does nothing I can't do in a spreadsheet. Where is the debt reduction planning tool? It should just be called "financial TRACKING". Microsoft Money has a tool that allows you to enter selected loans/credit cards, and then either enter desired monthly payments to see how long it will take to pay off all debts (by month, by account), or to enter the desired date for all loans to be paid off, and see how much you need to pay each month to meet that date. That is called PLANNING. This product has nothing like that. I was foolish to buy without trying it first. More
